E3 housing Berlin by Kaden Klingbeil Architekten
Presenting at the conference is Markus Lager, co-founder of Kaden + Lager Architekten. He studied architecture at the Technische Universität Braunschweig and is also a qualified carpenter, a training that he says allows him to “think like a builder”.
Kaden + Lager say about their work:
The timber construction was exiled in middle age because of its innate combustibility. Our office works on bringing back timber construction to the inner cities. We believe in timber construction as the best way to build because of reason like high precision by prefabrication, low-emission innate and the beautiful ready-made surfaces visible from inside of the buildings. And many more.
